Hey guys, my 7m build has been going on since the middle of the summer. Long story short, I've had nothing but problems with it, not all dealing with it BEING a 7m, but i just got my car back from being down for 2.5 months and..... BHG! I just put in a cometic mhg last year. I can't take it anymore, I'm done with the 7m, but im in debt, and will be so for a couple of months still. I'm gaugeing how much you guys have into your 1jz swaps. Please leave out exhaust, clutch and engine management because I already have these things accounted for. I don't really need a tranny either, but I figure if I get a clip, it comes with the bell housing, and a new bell housing is about as much as getting a clip with a tranny. Thanks in advance, and I look forward to joining the dark side...... oh, and i plan on useing my masterpower t70 on an ebay manifold.

1500 for motor, 600 for flywheel and bellhousing, 400 for intake stuff, 200 for motor mounts, 150 for 2j waterpump, probably 400-600 in other misc small parts.

So... at least 2500-3k (minus clutch and exhaust)

In most cases you can part out your mods and have just enough to pay for a 1j clip.

You will be looking at $1500-2000 in labor and small depending on who you take it to.

3k for a clip ~ 500-1000 in parts (for misc wiring, seals, manifold if go single etc..) and 1000+ in labor if someone else does it
