I think all is lined up but I thought I would ask the Pro's.. I have the crank at 0 degrees TDC. The cams gears are on the middle pin and lined up with the notches on the rear timing cover. The CPS is lined up a quarter inch (or so) below the right side contact.

Do the lobes on the cams look about right? The 3rd picture is probably the best for the cam notches..

Thanks,

no.

align the CRANK pointing to ZERO degrees, the CAM GEARS using the MIDDLE dowl, pointing UP to the notches in the cam plate.

install the timing belt with this orientation.

when inserting the CPS, the hole on the housing must be pointing towards the front of the car, with the crank at ZERO insert the cps.

when setting the timing, set it to 10 degrees.

My bad. Ive had success doing it that way on N/A's 3 times and was speaking from my experience.

I deleted it so no one else would jump into the thread and read halfway down and get the wrong idea then go mess up their engine.

That's fine.. I should have taken a pic of the CPS. When I installed it the little notch was in line with the contact but moved past it a little bit as I pushed it in.. I did a search and found a pic on the cps install. Thanks for the info..
