Ok. I bought this targa a few weeks ago and I went to put the targa in the trunk, and it is not fitting properly. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if some thing is messed up in the trunk. When I slide the targa into the front brackets it does not seem to want to slide in. When I push hard and get it to slide down the back of the trunk it does not want to lock down. I got it to go down drove it down the road and back and the back of the targa sliped all the way to the trunk floor. Any help or ideas would be great. Or just a tutorial of where I am screwing up. Thanks

Step one: Slide the 'front' of the targa into the targa holders on the shock towers
Step two: Push in slightly and lower the 'rear' of the targa into place on the rear holders (make sure they are 'up' first)

unless something's stuck inside the holders, it literally slides in, in 4 seconds or less..

inspect the holders, to make sure something's not wedged in there..

Thanks for the replies. I may have been sliding the targa under the two black pegs. and I did not realize that the two things poped up in the rear. I checked and got them to pop up so when it stops raining here I will give it a try. Thanks to all

The holders in the rear should stay locked in place, unless you release them with the switch. It is very common for them to not hold well, and you get the same result as you got when doing it wrong. It will drop that end of your top.

BTW......I have a good set if you or anybody else needs them.
