Purchased a 3rd MK3!

So I just wanted to show off the new addition to my collection.
Heres a picture of my other 2. The silver one will be my brothers car soon.

I wanted a targa and I finally found one that was what I think worth buying.
a 1990 Turbo Targa with a blown engine. Paint is a little dull but Ill deal with it. The rust is on the hatch and the spare tire wheel well, hopefully I can fix that soon. It cost me $800! Here it is:

It obviosly needs a DEEP cleaning.

nice, i've been wanting to pick up another Supra, I want a stock turbo, but definitely a targa. I wanna aim for a 91/92 but we'll see..


the car's nice, looks almost like a 91 with the body colored moldings..

what are your plans..?

Well this one was built in 08/89 and I think it was repainted... not sure. Sad it needs another paintjob though.

I think I want a 1jz. Not sure. Im going to swap my 7mgte into the red one from my black one and part some stuff out of the black one. Then who knows what will happen to that shell... My brother and I are thinking of cutting out the quarters out of the black one to re weld on the silver one cause it has nasty rust through.

Depending on how much money I save by the end of the year I will decide then.

Where is the tranny? What I think is weird is the rusty spare well, with a brand new looking hold down bolt.

Well you know, 3 strikes you're out. This will be my last Mk3. Im going for an MK4 hopefully in 2 years (or sooner) but I wanted the targa so I figured I dish out for one more MK3, post 89 and targa. So now I have it and Im happy.
My brother paid me for half of the silver one so I let him drive it except on some of those summer nights where I want to cruise around town with the top off. He gets sick of that, so I needed to get my own. This is my targa fix.

Yes it is weird that theres a shinny new hold down. Maybe its magic, water is repelled by it. :-D

The tranny is at the guys house still. I have to pick it up on Sunday. The thing was that I rented a Uhaul and a car transport thing but the truck door didnt open so I had to leave some stuff at the guys house like the big important things, the R154 and a spare block.

Oh and I got a used RSR for 160!

Why would you ever want more than one of these things? I don't have enough money to fill up the first money pit, let alone any others. lol
