Jack the back up and stand on the cowl panel and push the trans down with one of your feet, or 1 2x4, I've done it that way since day one. :icon_bigg

Taking the two out/putting them back in together is deff the way to go.

the tailstock of the tranny will tilt down, and then you jack up the back of the tranny, and it'll settle right in. :)

oh yes must remove the shifter.

t's super easy just make sure the rad is your so you dont damge that.

i usualy unbolt the motor mounts from below the car, and leave them on the motor, this way when i drop it back in im tring to get the whole into a grove, U and not a O hole..

makes it much easier..

i would say manual trannies are easier to drop in like this, but my auto i have left it in the car each time ive pulled ..

to make it a little less stress on you try talking of the clutch fan it gose in alot better then just put it back on when you get the motor in. the swap it self is really really easy just take out the sifter undo the wiring take down the drive line and all the hoses and radand tranny mounts and engine mounts and that should be it. also make sure the engine has a nice angle to it when you pull it out or you will never get it out. and when you put it in make sure of the same thing. if you have the money you should really pick up an engine leveler to make thing alot better on your self. good luck
