Hey is that the apexi FMIC for the mkiv? How are you running piping, I see mkiv used kits all the time and would nab one if I knew you didn't have to reinvent the wheel for the piping... looking good, I love the bling on the IM.

supra90turbo. Most pressure plates are just the stock ones modified so most of them will look the same. So basically my stock one and the clutch one are identical by looks.

jbsupra..yes I do believe that is an apexi fmic from a skyline or something. That's a great idea for the IC pipes..i should have thought of that before i went out and bought the piping.

Set up is
sp63
tial 40mm wg
trev manifold
550cc's (yes i need bigger ones)
75 shot :D
And other accessories

I have had so much help with this project from my friends it has been more than I ever expected. Hopefully jayson, idealsupra will make his way over here by the end of the week so we can drop back in the engine and the piping can being for the IC and exhaust.

List till completion:

-finish non ABS lines
-figure out how in the hell the throttle body goes back together ( the place that ceramic coated it took it completely apart and now i have like 20 small pieces that i have no idea where they go or how :( )
-Install clutch/flywheel and tranny
-Insert engine
-IC piping
-Intake of some sort
-exhaust

Thanks for all the comments. I'm going to try my hardest to have this done and ready to dyno by the 19th

Thanks, I usually see mkiv piping that is right off the fmic in the shape of a big U, then curving up to the TB. Turbo side through the snorkel hole is a given, unless the end tank angles it toward the rear of the car. Either way, looking good and put some numbers up when it's all said and done :D

she is most likely going to use a GReddy 4row style pipe route. both 3row and 4 row pipe routes end up coming out of the IC, making the big "U" under the headlight, goin inside the engine bay and making another 90* to go up to the TB, then maybe an 80* to meet the TB.

the hot pipe on a 4row setup goes straight down, 90* towards the passengerside and another 180* "U" bend to enter the intercooler. 4row is usually easier than 3row.

on a 3row setup, the pipe replaced the stock fender-pipe, and then runs downward, similar to a stock MK3 plastic fender pipe. then it meets the IC.

the car im currently working on, im working fabricating an IC pipe that converts a single to 4-row to 3row. that is, the turbo points down like a 4row setup would, but it makes a 180* out of the turbo, then a 45* to point up at the fender, then use a 45* coupler to mate the new pipe to the exisiting 3-row fender pipe. its a PITA, i never got my silicone elbow that i needed from the turbo, and if i weld an aluminum elbow to the turbo outlet, the warranty from SP is voided... and im not gonna modify the stock 3row fender pipe, because then it cant be sold to anyone wanting to run stock twins on their MKIV.

for the throttle body, the TSRM, i can't remeber what site it is on, some guy with a green supra that did a 1jz swap, has an exploded view of the throttle body that should help you put it back together.

Thank you. I will start searching on supra forums and see what I can come up with. It's going to be an interesting puzzle :(
