I've done 2 bar.

FYI, boost doesn't matter.. its all in the tune. 6psi with very agressive timing and very agressive air/fuel levels can kill a motor. 46 psi with conservative timing, and conversative air/fuel mix can let a motor live a long happy life.

It isnt the manifold restriction(PSI) it is the power output and airflow of the engine. There are a well above 400rwhp with stock internals in proper condition.

Sigh... Here we go again.

Boost doesn't kill engines. The compressive load that you'd generate on factory rods @ 40 psi wouldn't hurt them, nor would it hurt the factory pistons. It's detonation & heat that are the enemy. Find the ways to defeat both and you can run a virtually unlimited amount of boost on any motor.
