i figured it was time for me to start a page even though i'm not gonna be dumping money into the supra fro a while.

a lil history first, for those who are really bored.

started of in the honda scene (honda's rule!i know i'll get flamed).had a 93 accord swapped a dohc engine in it few bolt ons bla bla bla bla.car was quick i wanted turbo started a 400hp build up.had everything ready found out machine shop fucked up my block.got pissed/depressed and abonded project.looked around for another car sold all my honda shit.found a 240sx fell in love w rwd bla bla bla bla totaled car 3rd day i got it.yeah.

got an 07 pontiac g5 thought i was gonna stay away from messing with cars for a while.second day i had the g5 i came acroos an 87 supra targa turbo.guy said engine was knocking he wanted 1400 for it.i go check it out knocking wasnt realy knocking sounded like exhaust leak tio me.offered him 800 he took it i was happy :)

fixed the egr cooler leak (knocking sound under load), put another ct26 on and fixed the boost leaks.9 psi and the car runs beautiful.about 1k invested in it including cost of car.

ok update!

not on the car but on the garage.since i've decided i'm propably gonna built up my car for the next 2+ yrs, i figured i'd start by cleanning ou th egarage a lil.well cleanning out turned into remodeling the damn thing!

before pic, really shitty:

the garage is supposed to be an 2 inline car garage.the guy who had the house before us put a wall right in th emiddle to convert the other half ina storage room.well we knocked the wall down and clean it up a bit!

so we knocked the wall down, layed some cement to fix the cracks, fixied holes in ceiling and painted the walls.then i went to sears and bought me a craftsman roll away box and top chest, along with a nifty 54"work bench that has a built in light on the back wall.i also got a shelf that will help with some orginization.then we replaced the crappy 4' 40w lights with 3 8' 75w units...really nice lighting.also the floor is getting painted next week with that special garage floor epoxy paint :icon_bigg

so stupid update, but the whole point was to get as much free space in th egarage and some orginization.this should help get the project done more efficiantly.

plans for the supra:

i'm tryingto get some body work estimates this week.i need some rust taken car of and i want the car painted black.as soon as i pick a shop for the bdy work i'm stripping her down as much as possible.the interior is getting redone 9black) and the motor freshen up with forged internals.i dont have specific plans right now but i know that i'm getting the body work done, then interior and engine/suspension later.
