soo this all started when i was looking to buy my first street car, (had a truck), i found it when i was leaving NOPI nationals at maryland international raceway it was at an old gas station, i looked at it and it was pretty clean, turbo, full exaust and a nice set of wheels. the price was only 3 grand so i couldnt pass it up. by the next week i bought it.

i had the car on the road for two days, then i decide to drive it to the beach about three hours away with some buddys anddd

this is one time when i was actually glad the mkIII is such a tank, there was a motercycle accident on the shoulder so trafic slowed from 60 to 5mph verry fast. the lady driveng was not paying atention and plowed into me. the impact was so hard that my radio flew out and hit me square in the chest, and also both the seat adjustments broke and put my buddy and i in the back seat. luckily we were just bruised up a bit, but the other driver was out when i went to cuss her out and went out in a stretcher.

ripped the core support rite off th frame:nono:

soooo my car was looked at by my insurance company and they total lossed the vehicle. they reimbursed the 3 grand i paid, and ofered to let me buy the car back for $20!:aigo: i bought it back and started tearing it apart t see the damage and i found that it needed a pull on a frame machine becouse the body was about an inch and a half shorter. and becouse of this the targa wouldnt fit. luckily i make my living fixing wrecked cars as a bodyman/painter. i had the car pulled on a frame machine by a budy and i straightend the quarter pannel and a few replacement parts later...........

i continued driving with the quarte panel primed for about 2 months until i lost compression in cylinder #2. so i immidiatly started lookin online for a new one. i got my new 7m from jdmcars.com for a decent price. wile the motor was out i painted the egine bay gloss black and decide i would paint the whole car eventualy. so long storie short my daily driver has become my daily project due to unfortunate events.

the new 7m is in and im in the process of paint prep and bodywork heres what ive got...

i just got my 7mgte running after bhg. its a white 87 w/ r154 and targa. its basicly stock, got stock exhaust, apexi filter, a fidanza fw, 6puck clutch disk with a new aisin pp. i have a greddy profect b spec 2 to install, but im prolly not going to need it after i get an exhaust. im not planning on boosting over 10 psi cause no mhg.

also parts car also had full gauge cluster so we can test ur oil pressure gauge and replce it if need b .

o and sat after are hang overs we should deff try n get the 1jz running
