Since my orginal thread was about purchasing the car, this is the buildup thread. Watch this thread for some seriously cool custom suspention parts. Almost every day I will be working on the car, so pay attention!
Well today the lincoln was towed to my friends fab shop. We ripped apart the front suspention and worked on the rear.
I just got my manifold and other parts back from the powdercoater and will be taking the bumpers and grill for the powdercoating treatment very soon...
He will be building me a full front suspention and a triangulated 4 link in the rear so this this thing can lay "unibody"
Pay attention for updates...........
Whered the bottom of the trunk go?
rear springs gone so we can develop a link setup
This is the shop where its at. they typicaly build race vehicle suspentions and cages.
This s-10 will have something like 18 inches of travel
After mounting the tank and compressor where the spare tire was I'm going to do a stereo very similer to this..
Manifold back from the powdercoater
Last night we stripped all the sound deadening out of the trunk and LOT AND LOTS of seam sealer. VERY messy! I will be laying down new dynamat and seam sealer once it's all repainted.
