i was looking at them on mackinindustries.com and they of course have no listing for the mk3.

since they have a listing for 300zx TT and the mkiv of course, what do you guys think of retrofitting the 300zx calipers on like the night pager kit, using some mk3 suited wilwood rotors? i know this is a bit much, but i've always loved the look of project mu's blue calipers...

insight? thanks

why? just buy one of the many available mkiii bbk's thats already out there. theres one on hotrodheaven.com. its the jim king bbk they had some time ago. iirc you can get 4 piston or 6 piston calipers. it uses wilwood components. they are listed as celicaiirc, but it is actually supra. also have them for the mkii

i didnt know that, will.

problem being, i like the look of these calipers. i'm an aesthetic mother fucker. once i like something, i feel like i need it. i like the way wilwood's look, and brembo, but i never see project mu on a supra. because there is no kit. i can get things cnc'd, a.k.a the caliper brackets. custom lines are no problem...

ask my mom. i've always been difficult. lol

nah im gonna have to agree w/ turbo90supra. once i get set on something im going to do it. project mu has been proven by other communities to be a quality product. personally i want to do the brembo gran turismo upgrade kit but the bastards dont make it for the mk3..... lmk how it goes man!

Why not go with Endless. They are right up there with anyone in the game. Also, I have seen on a webpage project nu brakes on a mk3, it was a red one, doing racing around a track. Maybe someone else had seen it, the guy had pics of his brakes and I guess hewas proud of them cuz there was a lot!

If you want Project Mu calipers, then just buy the calipers separately and have the brackets made. The 300zx kit must use brackets to fit in it, and we must use brackets to fit the Z calipers on our cars, so there is no way to tell if the other kit will fit. The use of 2 adapters is not recommended. Brembo did in fact make a kit for the MK3 though, as well as AP Racing, and the Willwood units mentioned above.

ok, you want proven? when have you ever heard of wilwoods failing? they use them in all sorts of racing.
now, i never said wilwoods were not proven. i know about them, and they are always on my mind...

i just want something different.
i will probably just buy some 6pot calipers and have a bracket cnc'd.

basically, all the aftermarket calipers i like, there is no kit for. perhaps because they are the ones i dont see all that often...

call me a ricer, tell me its not worth the hassle. you know you'll drool when i post pics!
