It will be a long, bumpy road to bring it up to my "perfect" specifications. Expect delays in updates, setbacks and awesome things to come :naughty: I am just a normal, everyday person who works a regular 10-6, which means a real budget. Real hard work. Something people can relate to.

I want to give a BIG thank you to Jose Valle, Ernie Fixmer and Ray Ray of Kaizen Motorsport:biggrinki for continuous support and putting up with my constant questions :biglaugh:

i bought this car from a socal member and towed it home on July 10, 2007. the engine wasn't fully together, some of the interior wasn't bolted up, it was sitting for 4 years and was the greatest thing i picked up in years.
This was the list of things that the previous owner said it came with:

New McLeod Clutch Disc
Motor rebuild with 10K miles on it
HKS Downpipe
HKS N/A Catback
New oil pan seal along with other gasket and seals
New PS Rack
Resurfaced flywheel
LoTek Gauge pod w/ Autometer Boost Gauge
Tranny from Mike T's 91 n/a Supra
LSD from Supranick's 87T
Hood from Larry
Bomex front bumper
17" 5Zigen 5ZR wheels
Tokico Blues/Eibach pro kit
cusco front strut bar
Intake filter
SOGI shifter

September 4, 2007 - it went into Kaizen Motorsport to get it up and running as there were things i couldn't figure out. It fired up, but, the old fuel sitting in the tank messed up the fuel pump and injectors :3d_frown: . The injectors were sent out to be balanced and flow tested and the fuel pump was replaced with a Walbro. Also, the water pump was leaking so it was replaced with a brand new one as well as other misc. maintenance things. once the new injectors came in, it fired right up and on the 16th and i was able to drive it home. :biggrinbo

October 28th, 2007 - the last of the first major makeover. Ditched the HKS Sport Exhaust and donated it to Justin (Project N00b) and Installed 3" exhaust piping with a Megan Muffler, Spearco Style IC, hardpipes, intake filter and the bomex bumper was sold and replaced with a JDM Bumper.

March 2, 2008 - the second big thing to hit my car, was new wheels/tires (replaced the 5Zigen wheels with a set of Sportmax 006 18x9.5 +35 all around with 275/35 all around, Dunlop Direzza DZ101 in the front and Dunlop SP Sport 01 DSST RunOnFlat in the back), the previous black hood was replaced with the stocker, the open diff on the car blew and was replaced with an LSD.
The JDM Bumper i had got cracked when a big tree branch fell in front of my car while i was driving and had no choice but to run through it. it also took the stock lip and the driver side fog light. So the fog light and lip were replaced. Also the bumper was prematurely replaced with a bumper I was/am working on. Also, I was able to find an electrical short that kept messing things up with my car. FINALLY! lol

Today, May 18, 2008 - the newest step in this phase. Somebody bashed my driver side mirror so I replaced it with JDM Power Folding Mirrors! if somebody has the ECU for it, LET ME KNOW! I removed the stock 3 piece wing, but can't find time to get the holes welded so i have faded white tape over them for now. I sold the A-Pillar gauge and put in a stocker. I re-did my taillights (sanded them down and used that PlastX, now they're super shiny!) Also, now rocking an HKS SQV (older style)

so here i am now, next up is to finish up the bumper and a BIC Re-Routed DDP with all the goodies waiting to go on. Also, as soon as my stimulus check comes in to stimulate me, i'll be in the market for some springs.

from the pics, it looks like the 3-piece wing was installed a little off (especially the passenger side piece), just wondering if this is why you ditched it? or do you like the wing-less look? just curious.

great project you have!

Looks like this will really be something when completed.
Love the SportMax wheels!
yes, it will be :naughty: Top Secret Details will be revealed when i get the parts in :evil2: The Sportmax Wheels/Tires combo were something i got because i got tired of the 5Zigen Wheels i had on before. Plus, how many MKIII owners are riding on Run Flat's? :D I originally wanted the Black w/ Polished lip, but didn't feel like waiting the 2 weeks because they were on backorder.

I guess it just needs a lip, I suggest the Shine Auto Type 1 (like mine..:D)
I like the Shine Lip, but I've got a special lip in mind :naughty: Hopefully it will be acquired before SILV this year. but it's a secret ;)
