I dont know what is wrong with the car but when i can get the car running it idles really low bouncing between 500-400 rpm until it finally just stalls out, or when i press the accelerator it dies on me. i feel as if this could be a fuel problem but im not sure, what would cause this?

Air entering the intake that isn't metered can do it. As can many other things. Look for DTC's first.

Agreed on air leak. Could be many things, but sounds like it could be as easy as a hose not connected.
