problems with my 7mge

just recently changed my BHG then some problems arose haha

the car runs fine while moving, but when i slow down to a stop my idle drops and it used to die out.. i found some vacuum leaks, fixed that, so how it doesnt die most of the time, but the idle is still really low

also i feel my throttle response is really weird... like uneven.. especially from the dead start

no check engine light on

oh yah im talking about a cressida here, dunno if that makes a difference i believe it doesnt, hope thats ok haha i do own a MKIII supra also with a 7mgte ^_^

Have you checked your timing and made sure you found all of your vacuum leaks?

for your throttle response you might want to check your tps, it may be out of alignment

After you verify the timing.

Check for more vacuum leaks, make sure the vacuum lines to the VSVs are all routed properly. Also check for leaking gaskets in the intake manifold.

Check you spark plug wires and check the plugs... bad wires, plugs or even just water or oil down in the plug galley can cause issues similar to what you're describing.

Then check the TPS.

I'd start with the timing as well. If the ignition timing is good, I'd check to make sure you're not a tooth off on the timing belt.

Just because the CEL isnt on doesnt mean your car isnt throwing codes.

Check codes before anything else.

kk so i redid timing, it was off a little but its good now. that helped alot

then checked codes and 41 came up, something about throttle position sensor??
adjusted it a little and response went up alot

so now everything seems like its running fine, but 41 keeps coming up?

should i be worried?/or check someting??
