Right so ive just rewired the headlights on my 89 JDM supra
Using the stock wiring to trigger new relays. However im getting a issue now of the lights not turning off.
When the lights are on theres +12v but when I turn them off this voltage drops down to + 5v and keeps the relay coil in, keeping
The lights on. Even once the lights have retracted.
Ive swapped the original headlight relay thinking it may be not ""opening" corectly and still keeping abit of power on
But no avail. Upon testing ive found that the power goes into the main fusebox up the front by the battery for the headlights at 12v. Relay closes 12v to lights. Lights off sticks at 5v altho the incoming power is still 12v.
Is this what they call the relay integration board?
Ive searched and found people have had similar issues with the fog lights causing this. My fog lights are still stock but being jdm I can control all aspects of them from factory (just fogs on on there own etc) plus ive pulled the fog fuse and still have the 5v on the headlights
Any ideas supramania?
Thanks very much
