Problem with studdering and running rich. Code 11.

So i've done a little research. Spoke to someone I met off craigslist that had some parts for MK3's listed here named Jason. He told me to block off the EGR because it had a Honda one-way valve on it. The blocking of the EGR helped, but it's still running rich and popping and bucking while normal accelleration.

I pulled a code 11, which I saw masks all codes. So I'm currently trying to fix the CEL 11. I pulled the grounds off of the block under the intake manifold, they had tape all around them. I pulled all of the tape off and found no frayed wires. I sanded, brake cleaned, and regrounded the wires. Still, code 11.

I was also told it was giving a Code 52. I just need to verify by clearing out the code 11. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance guys, I look forward to working on and driving this fun little car.

Check your battery ground and maybe trying adding more grounds to the engine since 7M's are poorly grounded from factory.

Code 52 is a knock sensor code (wiring is broken or knock sensor itself is). To fix that replace the sensor if they do not pass resistance test or you will need to run new wiring from the sensors to the ECU. Could be both too.

Code 11 refers to the power and ground of the ecu.

Grounds on the intake manifold and there are power wires in the 6pin gray plug by the igniter.
