Put in new walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, start car, no leaks, idle's beautifuly, revs awesome, i let it get to operating tempature, take it for a spin around the block, no leaks what so ever.

I put it in second, hit about 12 pounds and the car pulled rediculously hard, then imediatly shut off and i have NO power at all. JUST the headlights. Thats the only thing one the car that worked. no start, no interior lights, nothing but the headlights.

My fuesable link needs to be replaced soon, as it was mostly fried, but could this have caused my fuesable link to actually "blow"?

Thanks!

Im thinking it cant be a fuel related issue, because i have no electrical things working EXCEPT my lights.

Shaeff told me he thinks its my fuelable link, but i just want some extra input in it...

Maybe - but electrical problems are usually one of those things you have to look at - there can be a lot of variables. Just pull that #2 box cover off and look at the link. Test it with a multimeter.

Man, dude you have luck like me...lol Some dumb biatch rear ended me today :(

Anyways check the main fuses under the hood also. Then you are going to want to check for shorts or what may have caused the problems

when i was working on the car, the fusible link was giving me problems. it's definatly fried. the casing was crusty and fell off when i touched it, and it's certainly not making a good connection. i know that for sure.
