Hey all! I just started Preppin the Supra for its paintjob to go with the new goodies it will recieve early this spring... :)

Cool, we need more refinish threads here. It is interesting how people do things differently. Some take more things apart than others. Some also sand to different levels than others as well.

I am curious though: are you are stripping it to metal? (Looks like it from the pic.)
If so, why did you choose to go down to bare metal?

Also, are you doing a color change?

Looking forward to seeing more.

heh i can see cracks in the factory paint on my bumper, not too bad but still noticable.

paint er' green!

why would the second be expensive, all the painter would have to do is tape off that area. right? im assuming this. but the gold one looks kick ass.

the reason it'd be more expensive is because i'd have to totally paint the doorjambs and engine bay to match right away and i wont be getting a new engine till spring time, so it'd be really gross lookin havin Maroon door Jambs and engine bay with gold and black body, but thanks for all the comments!
