hey im collecting as much info as i can on installing and tuning of maft pro before my unit arrives. i have a 89+ supra which will be running a 57trim ct and 560cc injectors. so far ive downloaded version 5 Manuel and i have found the following useful threads:

alot of these threads are old and are somewhat confusing, i still have a few questions:

1. setting up the timing monitor is confusing me a bit as ive read several ways of doing it. it seems there is the way show in one of the links above were the yellow wire of the 10pin harness is connected to G2 of the ECU (not sure if thats taped or intercepting), also there was something mentioned about being for a certain version only but that part was somewhat unclear and the other method ive read about is to cut the KS wire and connect the yellow wire to the engine side ( ill have to look for the thread i found that on cant seem to find it at the moment

2.for the timing monitor diagram posted above does pin 10 no longer connect to E1 if i do this? similarly for pin 1 of the 10pin does it no longer serve as the wideband input? or are both ment to be branches of those connections?

3. i under stand grounding is extremely important for a unit like this to get proper signals so wat would be the most effective ground for the maft pro( write up say E1 for the grounding wire is that correct?) and my wideband?

at the moment these are my main concerns since i want my wiring to be solid, im sure ill have many more questions about tuning with this unit in the near future so i hope you guys will be willing to put up with my questions. also since i have a 89+ ecu i need to either perform the HAC mod or send it in to be done. if any one could supply me with a pic of the integrated HAC sensor that would be much appreciated. just want to see if it is within my level of capability before i ship it in.

thanks,
anthony
