Preparing for a long road trip!!!

Ok so im taking the 1JZ on the long haul again... From Sacramento to Phoenix,a 14hour drive!!!!

So i was thinking of what things i should do for the car so it will have a solid trip, no problems!!!

My setup just to give you an idea:
I have a 1JZ
walbro
big ass intercooler
piping
HKS BOV
Full 3" exhaust- no cats
3" Y-pipe
Megan coils
MKIV N/A rims

Any trip tips?!?!?!?!?

- Check your fluid levels...if low, add fluid
- If you're nearing an oil change, do it before the trip
- Lube the chassis where applicable
- Check all your exterior bulbs, replace where needed
- Check tire pressures, fill if needed

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but those are the more important points.

yup, nothing beats it! i took a road trip from boston to west palm beach...unforgettable.

and dont forget rags or gloves...things are usually very hot when you are doing highway side work...

Hy that is great to hear you're doing this. I as well have plans to do this next year. I have a '92 Supra and I am swapping in a 1jz as we speak. I thought it would be a nice thing to do for the car. I am tired of the 7M, I am sure you may be on that path too.

Well I hope everything goes well, just make sure you have a tool set, always helped me along the way maybe Ill see you at a meet too.

yup... it drove great!!!
I drove all the way there, changed the oil drifted a couple days then all the way back... Legit!!!
I love this car!!!

Cool, yea in my mind i treat a long rd trip just as if i was driving my car to the dragstrip. Majority of all of my tools, a full socket set, 1/2 socket set, portable impact wrench, breaker bar, make sure your spare tire is good and have 2 cans of fix a flat just in case, Gallon of water, if its cold then a gallon of antifreeze, 2 quarts of oil, brake fluid, flashlight, and i have a aluminum racing jack, stock jack takes too long lol.
