I'm all for pre-89 love, but my pre-89 won't have a stock bumper. Hopefully you guys can pull this together though, $200 is WAY cheaper than a stock lip, and these could be used to duct air where you want it...

There have got to be at least 20 people out there with a busted ass lip that want their car looking better?

I cant even identify 20 pre89 with a lip on their car, whether oem or aftermarket. Busted up or not. Lol.

Seems like the majority of pre89s owners are are contently lipless.

YESSSSSSSS!!!!! I had to order mine from Titan motorsports and it was like 280 shipped two years ago and it is fiberglass are these ones FRP?

FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) is the same as fiberglass. Shine parts are made of flexible frp. They can also make a lip out of their "super" flexible proprietary material.

I need to see it on the car to really pass judgement.

I currently have one of those C7 pre89 lips. It doesn't fit well and will require modification to do so. I will also probably paint it body color. I will keep an eye on this thread for another reason to not go 89+

Im with Lithium. I'm about to order an East Bear Lip after my Kevin M. Sunshade comes in. I have to determine which one looks better in my eyes...

I would like to argue with you, but you're probably right. I know my 88 had one when I owned it (was in good condition too!), but I don't know about the 87...

At least you've chimed in . Thank you.

Where are the rest of the pre89ers?

Rodel... I'll admit, i was very interested at first... but the East Bear is just way too good looking. Ill decline as well...
don't get me wrong. This is a very nice lip.. but i'll go with a East bear 1st. maybe ill attempt to get this one later on so i have 2 different front end options..

The East Bear lip which was actually for an 89+ bumper, has rounded edges, looks okay on the 89+ bumper.

East Bear lip on a pre89. Note that that lip is too big for the bumper.

All Shine did to the East Bear lip (aka G-Brand) was shorten it so that it fits the pre89. The G-Brand lip is rounded, while the pre89 bumper has sharp edges.

I always tell Shine's owner, "The G-Brand lip just doesn't cut it on a pre-89. Why do you even make it? (LOL)." He laughs with me in agreement. The primary reason why the G-Brand sells is because it's the only aftermarket lip option in production.

Bomex 3 Hole on the pre89...IMO, more appropriate on pre89 than the G-Brand.
