I know that a white package option was offered on the 89+ cars...but was there ever one for the pre-89's?? I have seen several pre-89's that are white, w/white sawblades...but the trim wasn't painted...so I was just curious...

Wasn`t there a "limited" 86.5-87(?) that was some kind of a promo event car in California where there were like 20 or so made?!? They were white w/ matched mouldings, ....Someone on here or SF had one and it had in the glove box , papers stating it was a limited car and had part #`s for the mouldings incase you had a collision.
yea.. its some sort of "pace car edition" from california. white metal backed molding, white sawblades.. very rare appearantly.
yup, pretty cool actually.. i would have left it wing-less and decal-less, but its in great condition.
