Pre 89 bumper on a 89+ supra

Ok so I've seen a lot of posts on going to a 89+ front on a per 89 supra but my question is will it work the other way. I cracked my front bumper this week and have a 86.5-88 front bumper will that bolt right up to the 89 supra. I know if I do it will leave a hole where the bump in the 89 bumper is just want to make sure everything bolts up right before taking stuff apart

Yes it will bolt up, not in all places but it will

your whole front grill area will be different also. Different corner markers, grill inserts as well.

You can use the pre 89 turn lights with the 89+ bumper.

He's going to the older bumper though, he has 89+ corners I assume.

Either way it should work as a temp fix.
