I have a new Sony CDX-GT320 stereo in my car, and I had the dash pulled apart while I installed my AEM wideband yesterday. The power wire came out of the plug, and I have no idea where it should go back. There are 5-6 places in the plug that are open.

If anyone has one or is a salesman of them, can you please help?

Hang on, I assumed you were refering to the yellow wire. Are you? There's two 'powers'

Above, or below (depending on which way you hold the plug) the ground wire. That's the black one ;)

has to match with a pin, look for a pin with scratches in it that no longer has a wire...

The radio is only a couple of weeks old. It has only been put on once. I see no scratches inside the holes in the plug.

No, I'm talking about the Red wire, for switched power. Should that one be near the black one?

Do a search on the internet for Sony's pinout. They've been using the same one for close to 20 years.

I am aweful with a schematic, but I may end up there, if I don't get help here.

The red wire goes to the right of the black wire.

Row one starts with the yellow wire on the left and row two starts with the black wire on the left.

One pin in from the black wire is the red wire.

Well, I plugged it in, and got power. There's just one problem. The power is intermittent! Could that fuse be blown near the plug in? could that power wire have touched the back of the radio and shorted something out in there? If so, would the warranty be honored on it? Or, am I just not putting the power line back in the plug with the right position. Gawd I'm such a newb sometimes

You probably didn't put it back in correctly.
