What makes you think your power window relay is done? When I had power windows on my MK3 stop working it was just a switch contact problem. I poped the switch out and sprayed it very well with tuner tonic I purchased at Radio Shack. Soaking the switch overnight is even better. After that the power window went up and down fine. More than 90% of the time its due to dirty contacts on the switch or switches. The passenger switch can also affect the driver side too.

yes it is usually the contacts, it happend to me. The driver side im unsure about because it is different then the passenger side. I had to bend the little gold contacts and it worked. I am actually having issues with the driver side one as we speak. I have to push up on the switch real hard. Anybody know how to fix that, because it doesn't have the contacts like the passenger side does.

Huntin5L try what I said in regards to the tuner tonic. Really great stuff and it does not seem to affect plastic. I would soak both switches (pass and driver side) with tuner tonic over night. If all else fails buy used switches on Ebay. I picked up the driver switch on Ebay for $15.00 to have as a spare. This is a very common problem on all MK3's with dirty switch contacts. PM me if you have any more questions on this. As far as the relay goes I have no idea where it is but I have never needed to bother with it since the tuner tonic fixed the switches which are the problem most of the time.
