First of all, knock off the text messaging abbreviation and no caps crap. It's hard enough to understand what a lot of you guys are trying to say.

Look at this diagram:

The line runs from the small 90 deg fitting on the bottom of the accordion hose. The valve is called "Power Steering idle up valve"...it increases RPM when turning the car at idle.
Yes, you need it.

That "valve" is the idle up valve. It bumps the idle up a bit for when your turning to lock at idle or really low speeds. When your turning, like in a parking lot, and hit the bump stop the power steering will pull power away for the engine and it will bog if this is not installed and working. However it is not necessary to have if your not doing a lot of slow full turns.

You're driving this heavy ass car without power steering? Not what I would do, but whatever.

Cap both nipples on the valve to keep crap out of it. Cap the fitting on the bottom of the accordion hose and the hardline above the crank damper to prevent inducing unmetered air in the system.

Ive done fair amount of reading on here with no answer.
I bought my brothers 91 supra with the head taken off.On the power steering idle up valve one outlet goes to the metal tubing and the other goes where? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
