Good Day
Im Deen from South Africa
I require some info on the powersteering of a MK3 1990 3ltr turbo Supra
Ive just had mine reconditioned and when the car is stationary I can turn the Steering with my finger( Fantastic ) but when Im on the road she seems to be too sensitive !!

When I disconnect the power steering wires for the solenoid the steering stays the same!
Is this normal?

When I first got my supra the speedo didn't work and the PS was the same at all speeds, when I got my speedo cable replaces finally I thought there was something wrong with my PS because at speed it was much harder to turn the wheel.

I was unaware that it had progressive power steering until I did some research.

I would agree with these guys above.

Chances are when they replaced the power steering, they forgot to plug the progressive power steering plug back in. If your car is left hand drive, it should be on the driver's side, below the alternator. Look for a disconnected plug near the bottom of the engine bay.
