Ok, so in trying to get my T4 in place I am having issues getting eveything around it to work out. I have the manifold and turbo bolted down and have clearence for the turbo outlet past the manifold. However, getting an intercooler pipe anywhere close is frustrating me. So I decided one thing that needs to go is the powersteering reservoir.

What I want to know about is the loop of hard lines that go through the front wall and cross over the front of the radiator. Can these be removed from the system? What is their purpose? Its just one big loop as far as I can tell. Do those lines contribute to some kind of fluid volume? Who has relocated the res' and how did you do it?

I used an N/A res, and pitched the loop(cooler), hasn't had any problems. I imagine if you were road racing, really cranking alot , maybe it would get hot, but I never had any issues. I have an obx res off ebay thats going in soon though:)

so the big loop is the power steering "cooler"? I never knew that. What I had already read about relocating kind of all makes sense now. Thanks tookwik!

I think I know what I need to do now. That was easy thanks man!

Wow Aspec that looks real nice. Thanks for the ideas, but I already located my rez where the charcoal canister used to be. I may change that later as Im not sure I want it in a hot spot like that. Maybe after I get Lucy on the road again I'll switch locations.
