power steering pump is creamin like a banshee... WTF?

yeh... anyone know what's wrong? this is the second pump i've put on, and i know for sure that it worked fine before... anyone have any experience w/ this?

what do you mean CREAMING like a banshee? rofl
is the belt tension too tight or loose? Is there ps fluid inside the resivour and you have got rid of all the air?

LMAO... didn't catch that... :-/ um... i think all of the air is out... how do i tell that? belt tension is perfect...

i started my car up a little while ago and it was fine for ten seconds, then all of a sudden it started squealing it was kinda soft at fist, then it just let loose, lol...

Raise the front wheels off the ground, turn on car and turn the wheel from lock to lock until you don't see anymore air bubbles in the resevior. Hopefully this will also remove your squel also. If not, your pump bearings may be going out.

well, the system has no air bubbles in it... and last time that motor ran, the pump worked fine... could water in the system be making it do this? kinda gay this is the 2nd pump i put on the car, and it does the same thing...
