I made a mistake. Went to Toyota and ordered a Power Antenna unit for my 1987 Supra. Come to find out I needed the regular Antenna unit. Is there anyway to configure the Power Antenna Unit for my Supra or should I just sell it and find a regular antenna unit for it.

I have a 1989, but since my car was NA, it didn't have the 3pc spoiler, so mine would be the same as yours.

When my power antenna died, I went to Canadian Tire and bought a $60 generic power antenna. I used the pieces from the stock unit on either side of the metal, since the aftermarket antenna did not come with anything of a suitable angle.

Bend the strapping for the lower mount into place, attach the drains to the factory provisions, and connect constant power, ground and the trigger to the factory wiring harness. I also have an aftermarket deck, but I connected the antenna out to the wiring harness on the other end, and I have had this working with a factory deck as well. (Bonus, if you use the correct line, you can get the antenna to retract when you change from radio to CD/Cassette.)

It looks just like factory from the outside (Since I'm using the factory fitting hardware after all) works great and costs less than 1/3 of a factory replacement. Even when the aftermarket one died (Antenna caught a plastic bag on the freeway) it was easy enough to replace with another cheap aftermarket one, and I'm still $$$ ahead.

All our cars came with power antennas. If you have anything other than a power antenna, it was replaced.

Last I knew the NA one wasn't available, leaving on the one for the 3 piece wing available. It works fine, it's just extended to fit through the grommet on winglet.

The mast replacement is no longer available. I have an 89 Supra NA, no wing. Do not order the AntennaX replacement as it is not compatible. The supra mast bolts in line with the drive cable. I took a chance and figured that a mast replacement for the 1989 Camry sedan might work. So I ordered p/n 8633632130. It worked. Is not as flush as the original one, but looks good and will survive any car wash (when retracted that is!). I will try to attach a snapshot. Items Ordered:
Item: electrical, body electrical, antenna & radio, antenna mast Camry Power Sedan
Price: $34.33
Shipping: $10.50
Handling Fee: $2.00
Order Total: $46.83
