I thought I would post some pics of some parts we just got back for a customers car. We can offer this as an exchange if you would like it done, just send your dirty oily nasty manifold and get back a beautiful durable powdercoated finish for $200. With 3000 pipe add $30. Shipping is not included in this price, but would be maybe $15-25 for the return shipping. If you are local then no shipping needed. All the sealing surfaces and hose fittings are carefully taped off so it will go back together nicely. We can do any color you want, but metalic colors are extra because it is a 2 stage job with clear coat. We can do a color that looks like aluminum, or even glass bead and clear coat to look like shiny stock.

How long will you be offering this for? Because I'm getting my turbo engine sometime in April and then Im sending my mani to Ron to convert it to an FFIM. So itll take a little while.

Sorry to intrude but. Who is Ron and what do you gain from FFIM?just curious not knocking you or anything. I have seen alot of mk3's with them and was wondering about them.

It has an improved throttle response, takes off about 4 feet of IC piping, and adds approx. 35 HP. Not to mention cleaning up the top of the engine a lot. It looks much better IMO.

Sweetness! Will you be able to paint the lines in the valve covers a different color as well? Like say the valve covers would black and then the lines would be red.....

Absolutely! It would be a little extra but I can do custom accents like that or multiple colors. I would have to quote it on a case by case basis.

I can do a color like aluminum or ceramic coating. That would be a little more then a solid color like black or red. $200 is for valve covers and upper and lower intake manifolds. The price includes the cleaning, bead blasting, taping and coating. I can give you an exact price on the color you want tomorrow. It takes about 5 days from when I drop off the parts. I can drop off parts I have already and trade you for your old ones as long as yours dont have any stripped threads or deep srcatches.

not bad i guess. but for 200.00 any color should do and then. Solid colors should be alot cheaper.
For 200.00 I got alot more then that powdercoated with a "special Color" and still didnt break 200.00. even had my exhaust manifold ceramic coated inside and out and i wouldnt wanna tell the price of that in this thread but agian it was alot cheaper then 200.00
Good luck!!!

Thats cool, then you should start your own thread. I'm offering it as a service, I didn't say I was the cheapest anywhere. If you want the aluminum without the clear then it would be the same price, but lets look at yours and mine in a year or two and yours will look faded.

ok thats cool

best of luck with your service

Well after 6 months or less the clear powdercoat will turn yellow. ;)

Including the sandblasting? Including the valve covers? You paid $100 for just the intake, right? Great, start your own thread. Thanks a whole lot.

This really pisses me off honestly. If you don't want to have me do it for you then dont, but don't troll around bragging about how cheap you got something done in my thread. I am not ripping anyone off. I pay a lot more then $100 and I always sell at the lowest margin I can so this is very insulting to me. Are you saying you are going to ship out powder coated intakes with valve covers for $100?

whoa you need to calm down. I was mearly sharing my powdercoating experience, and what I paid, thats all. Did I say your price was too much anywhere in my reply? No. lol
