Has anyone ever powder coated their intake manifolds? I was thinking to do mine kinda silvery simply because all my other powdercoated stuff is VERY easy to clean and it would be nice to have myintake manifolds like that... and it'd look kinda nice :)

hmm... i thought powdercoating could only handle upto a certain degree of heat... far lower than what the exhaust manifold handles

Standard powder coating will not withstand the temperature however there is a "high Temperature" powder coating available that will handle it easily. its a bit more expensive but worth it IMO.

errmmm

he said INTAKE manifold not exhaust.

the powder coat you speak off is only good to 1000 degree farenhieht. In a turbo application the powdercoat will NTO survive on the exhaust manifold. It has to be ceramic coating.

That sure is a lot of red. Red is your favourite colour right? Not blue or something :biglaugh: Anyways, that looks cool plus you can easily see any oil spils from anywhere, and I bet it wipes well.
