ok. i didn;t see this and i thought this would be cool and exciting seing what people expeince. here is mine. .
i threw a rod last year, and this is the damage.

this one is the rod bearing.

this one is the inside of the oil pan
then from left to right. the block, rod, rod cap, oil pan, and oil pump.

I also spent all of the effort turboing and swapping in a motor into a MKI, only to find out it was missing rod bearings.
