Well i didnt want to get deleted so ill introduce myself. My name is John and i have owned my supra (mkiii turbo) for about two years. Funny story on how me and my lady got introduced, i seen her from afar and thought it was a older rx7-i can tell the difference now.....!!! lol. Anyways since i have owned my supra i have learned so much, not only about supras but about car terminology in general. Like from turbos to lubrication to fiberglassing a speaker box. i also would like to comment on how great a community this is and how i am glad to be a part of it, hope to see you all soon at a supra meet.

Thanks for the welcome, and ill get some pics up as soon as i get my car out of the shop.
In the shop, a MkIII??? That sounds EXPENSIVE$$$...
Aside from alignments, the annual set of new tires, and oil changes (3k miles every 6-8 weeks!) my 87 went nearly 7 years without getting anywhere near a shop for any reason, even the BHG replacement was done in a friend's driveway with the help of some Supra friends, and Hurricane Katrina is the only reason that car is not still on the road anymore... :(

To start off i have a very little knowledge of cars, just recently (past 8 months or so) i have really learned about my mkiii. I can do stuff like changing oil, spark plugs, filters, and such. I blew the head gasket a short period after i got the car. I got a mechanic to change the head gasket and he took off the valve covers, the cams were grouted. So i bought a jdm motor and got a shop to put it in, and it was expensive but the mechanic that did it also has a turbo mkiii supra.<--- he is a really nice guy. well i blew the head gasket on that motor and i was broke so i was going to do the job myself. So i put the car in my boss mans garage and got the head off then i got myself fired so i had to move the car. Well parts got missing and i didnt have the tools or anywhere to work on it so i put it back in the shop were i got the jdm motor put in, and i just got it back a few days ago. I have noticed a few problems with it so im gonna take it back there monday, i just have to refrain from driving it.:nono: i think i know what is wrong with it now but dont feel that it is my responsibility to fix it.

Welcome aboard sir. Hopefully you'll get it fixed soon so you can still enjoy a few pretty days of summer while driving it.

What's up with your user name? Do you like Pits? I've owned a few over the years and I really love the breed.

It's sad that pits as a breed are very friendly and loyal, but the actions of a few ruin the reputation or start one for the rest of them. I don't want to start a discussion about them in your thread because it would probably end bad, but I do love the breed and want one bad. I just don't want to have another dog to feed and clean up after. My neighbor has a beautiful red nose'd pit and I would take it in a heartbeat though. See ya.

well i really dont want to get on the subject either because like you said, it will end very badly. But anyone is welcome to hijacking this thread, i posted it because i got tired of seeing the message, we are deleting zero posters at this time, but i dont think the name is real catchy if you know what i mean, imagine if the title said WOW!!! did you see the donk on her!!!!, lol
