Well after seeing how cheap Srt-4's can get the 2 step future for not to much cash. I decided to contact the company N2MB (Never 2 Much Boost) and ask them if they had a device fueaturing 2 step that would work for a Supra 1989 Turbo. So he replied back and appareantly he thinks its possibe that it would work with software modification to the device he sells. So now I need techinical help from you guys.

This is the responce I got to my email, hopefully someone hear can answer his questions, and make this device possibly for our cars, and if theres not much interest, atleastfor my supra.

So this is the response I got from him:

"I checked over the wiring diagrams attached to this email. It looks mostly ok. I can find the TPS sensor, and a place to cut the ignition coil power. I wasn't sure where we would get an RPM signal from. There are a few choices and our software would probably need modification to work with either of them. The one thing I didn't find was a cruise control clutch switch. Can you check on your car to see if you have a second clutch switch that activates at the top of the pedal travel? It will be a different switch than the clutch starter interlock switch. That switch activates at the bottom of the travel and won't work for us."

Let me know what you find.
Thanks,
Jon

So can you guys help me out with his questions?

I believe you can get an RPM signal from the CPS right? Or am I wrong?

Thanks

RPM signal from the CPS might work, or from the ignitor. Yes we have a cruise control switch on the clutch pedal.

The exact details you'll need will have to come from someone with more knowledge (like jetjock).

Not happening unless they buffer the ignition signal and can implement a no send of certain logic. We are lucky to have a mulitplexed ignition system. Two wires to send ignition signals to three coils and of course the Idf for confirm.

Anyway

If you are only cutting ignition for a 2 step than you automatically made it into an ALS system with no fucking regards or control of ignition timing. Fuel is still being injected!

In otherwords without PRECISE control of the fuel AND ignition. You will be tearing the shit out of the turbo in no time flat as the now unlit fuel is begining its combustion process at a "random" time per cylinder.

a true 2 step addresses both fuel and ignition... no option short of an EMS will give you both (and PERHAPS the Greddy E-manage).

MSD might take care of the igntion side but you will still be sending fuel in and out of the cylinders.
