Okay, let me explain what has happened. This has occured over a period of about a year of using my dual stage boost controller.

I got my car and shimmed the ct-26's wastegate to 12 lbs. Then I removed the shims and installed the turboxs dual stage MBC. I used to build full low setting boost and click the switch for 15 lbs. I would imagine that it makes the wastegate close again. Now after a few months i have had serious boost creep. It will hit full low boost and without clicking the switch creeps up and up and up then it slams fuel cut.

Is it possible to wear out the wastegate actuator and or wear something out?

If the wastegate actuator was wearing out, your boost would fall off intead of creep up.

The wastegate flapper itself could be dead or dying - corrosion preventing it from opening far enough, cracks big enough to interfere with it's operation, but there is no way that I am aware of the actuator could cause this.

oh i should have read the entire post.

i would guess that in order to get boost creep with the stock ct26, maybe a pinhole in the line to the wg actuator?
