Hey all,
I recently got into a lot of problems with Pennsylvania State Police and need help/advice.
Basically, what happened was that a friend of mine had called me and a few other people up to go with him up this older country road so he could break in his car a little bit. So, on the way up him and another driver ended up racing up this road about 3 pulls or so. Unknown to us, an off duty state trooper going home was behind us the whole time and reported us. And not too long after state police was all over us. Now, during the street racing. I was located about 2-3 cars behind the 2 cars racing. I never sped,raced,swerved out around anyone,accelerated drastically,blocked anyone.
So, when they pulled 3 of the 5 of us. They told me I was going to be charged with Drag Racing, Wreckless Driving, and Abstructing Traffic. And even though they never physically saw me line up beside anyone to race, they're charging me with it for being associated with it.
1 of the 5 drivers left 10min before bust so he got off scott free. Other driver tried to run, later got caught.
My question is, they never requested me to sign anything nor did they really talk to me. They only asked me for my reg.,license,ins. And home phone # and cell phone #. Then, after everyone else they told me I was getting those charges?
Anyone know what's gonna happen?? :1zhelp:
