I got my 91 MKIII back on the road around four months ago after a ten month rebuild and I didn't notice any problems then. But as I drove the car, I noticed that when the car would roll backward either from being on a hill or putting the trans in reverse, it would take a lot of effort to get the car to want to move forward again. This problem started out pretty insignificant and then the more I drove the car the worse it got. It didn't have a single problem when I tore the car down so I am a little stumped as to what would be causing the problem. The few things I did in the drive-line past the engine was, replace the top hats of the subframe bushings with nylon equivalents and then a different clutch and rebuilt the trans. I didn't change the fluid while the car was down so I am not sure if that proves or disproves anything. Also, it has an lsd filled differential center section. Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on?
