possible blown turbo

ok, so I just got my car out of the shop, I had the timing belt/water pump/headgasket all new belts/gaskets. Now, I was driving, came to a stop sign, I started to go and goosed it a little, turbo didn't fully boost, my car was showing a little white smoke, as I drove the white smoke got really bad, the car overheated, and I lost my heat, to me it seems like a blown headgasket, but that easy? I used the felpro kit, and the guy said it was torqued to around 80 ft. lbs, it was a 2 step process, what do you think?

well, when you replace a head gasket, you need to go to several heat stages with the engine, kind of a break in period. but usually even if you dont obey that, you still wont pop it just like that. but sounds to me like bhg. if theres white smoke and spiking heat. check the underside of your oil cap and dipstick for emulsified oil. (milky oil)

if your head was warped badly before you replaced the gasket, then i could believe it...

and when you say "2 stages" your talking about the head bolts? and you did at least replace them with OEM toyota ones right? also when you do the head gasket, i torque over 3 or 4 runs across them... not two.

I believe the had was warped bad, but then head was shaved down, there was a new gasket put in.

doesnt sound too good. if the head was warped, i would have gotten a new one. but thats me. i go through the torque sequence at least 4 or more passes.
