Couldnt figure what an answer to my question so i decided to post

Just wondering if there any major difference in gains when upgrading the exhaust with a 3" port matched turbo elbow vs's going with a 3" downpipe with the elbow eliminated(for example the Bic DDP). Both options have a full 3" exhaust btw.

Not sure if this is the right section to put it in. Mods feel free to move wherever u see fit.

They are incomparable. It takes major surgery just to get the stock elbow close to an aftermarket elbow. And it sill isn't close. And a down pipe with the elbow integrated is the best in terms of flow.

I have a picture in my build thread of the opening of the SS elbow opening. You can compare and see if the ported stock unit measures up.

Thanks for reply Nick M. I might've confused you with my question, if so, i apologize. When i said port matched turbo elbow, I meant bolting on those full 3" elbows with a full 3" exhaust versus using a downpipe with the integrated elbow(ex. bic ddp). Anyways, I got the answer I needed. The integrated elbow is best in terms of flow.

Thanks again
