I come from a land down under
Sort of depends on the shop.

One of the Young guys took mine home with him and did it there so they were able to drop the labour costs quite a bit. (from $900 AUD to $500 AUD)

Normally I'd have done it myself but time was a factor and I couldn't be bothered with the mess! ;)

4600 w\o turbo IC and engine? that seems a little high to me... but maybe not... I'm sure someone else will chime in here...

add another name to the already huge list of supra owners that:

1.) Sink TONS of money into their cars
2.) Sit in their cars and pretend to drive
3.) Make Turbo Spool sounds randomly while walking around in public
4.) Kiss the car's hood and tuck her in bed (w/ a car cover of course)
5.) Talk about their supra constantly even though its not running

520USD for a PP job over my way. Thats disassembly of the head and reassembly with valve adjustment.. not too bad if u ask me.

How about instead of valve adjustment i send Ferrea +1mm valves, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, and spring seat locators instead and put those in place of the old ones. Would that cost me more money?

I hear in some parts of japan they released the swipe strip, which was hidden right beside the ebrake handle, so you could swipe your visa for faster cash loss. I've been looking into aquiring one for a few years.
