I know it's a common problem with out cars, that they start well when cold or hot, but not so well when they're warm. Just wondering if this would solve the problem or at least help somewhat?

Anyone replaced their cold start injector and get much better warm starting?

our 90T needs 2 cranks when cold. starts fine when hot. I"m thinking our cold start injector? is clogged. my 4runner's 3vz did the same thing when I bought it. now i just bump it and it starts. I need to look into it on our car... so many things, so little time!

CSI doesn't occur beyond a certain coolant temp while fuel system rest pressure begins to subside as soon as the engine is shut down. These two variables are designed to overlap so if everything is working right the problem shouldn't happen. I've never had it. Check out the CSI system and rest pressure decay time to see if they're in spec. Might want to check the FPU system too. Fwiw you wouldn't believe all the monkey motion the ecu goes through everytime you turn the key.
