well i have all new brakes installed on the supra. i'm runinng all OEM toyota stuff with goodridge brake lines and ATE super blue racing fluid. now my brakes seem to work good and i don't have any viberations under normal speeds.

when i'm drag racing and trying to slow down from over 120mph my brake pedal will pulsate like all hell.. 100mph+ braking is horrible. even if i tap the pedal. the brake will viberate like crazy.. do i need to bleed the brakes again??

i think soon i'm going to upgrade to porterfield pads and see how those do.

yeah, maybe just too much heat all at once, gases pushing the pads away to let the gas escape. Maybe some slotted rotors to help alleviate the pressure

Are there any dark spots on your rotors?

I had this happen with my PB setup. The only thing I can figure is the zinc coating was not uniform, and as it wore off, caused the pad material to deposit un-evenly on the rotor face. This caused the pulse you can feel.

What I did was use a scotchbrite grinder pad and my drill to remove all of the pad material on the face as much as possible. (It will skuff up the rotor face too. I did not have any issues with making the rotor face uneven or out of true doing this, but I'm sure it's not as good as having the rotor turned to removed the pad material. (But you can do this without removing the rotors from the car.)

I have no heat shields anymore, so access to the back side of the rotor was easy.

Seemed to have worked very well. Now that the rotor face has been skuffed, and the zinc/pad material removed, a new layer of pad material could be laid down by the pads, and it's even so it does not pulse anymore.

There is a sticky somewhere on brakes written by fastbrakes I think. It has lots of great information in there.
