how many people have had their cps ohm good but still be faulty? one other question. could any wiring with the fuel pump keep me from having spark?

Wiring specifically for the pump and spark? You need the EWD. The only thing I can think of is a wire is grounded and blowing an EFI fuse. More like an EFI relay not working.
Your CPS can ohm correctly and still be bad. I havent seen too many faulty CPS's, mostly faults in the wiring.

i had one where the pickup coil (green wire) was dead. was missing but still ran (bless its little heart) till i cut it up and soldered a new pickup in.
