plumbing oil cooler

hi all, I'm concidering upgrading my oil cooling system as the last of the safeguards against high boost destruction. But I have a couple questions about plumbing and hose size that everyone used.

-I was looking at a B&M super cooler that has 1/2 NPT inlet/outlets on it, is this sufficient? And what AN tubing should I use for this? Most seems to be -10 AN so I was thinking of running that, but any input is appreciated. Also, how difficult is it or does anyone have a writeup on putting together AN hose? As I'm not totally sure how to do it.

-this is how I was going to run it:

NA filter block > remote filter > thermostat > cooler > thermostat > filter block

Let me know if I'm totally off the beaten path or not those who have done this. All experience is appreciated. Thanks!

I just mad the change you described removed the turbo filter mount and am running a relocated filter & thermostat routed to the stock oil cooler during normal driving my pressure seems to be a tad higher and once the oil is warmed up and the thermostat is open my oil pressure is still a tad higher than the previous setup but oil at a proper operating temperature does a better job I believe so....

Cool, initially for some reason I thought this was a terribly overwhelming thing to do. Now that I learned more general knowledge; its kind of easy actually in theory.

Only thing is, how hard is it to put AN hoses together? I tried looking on google for something on it but I didn't come up with anything.

Another note: I will be running a cfx nose. So mounting this system is another issue I have. The SuperCooler is 8x11x1.5 and the cfx "mouth" if you will is not wide enough to have IC and oil cooler seperare from each others path. So when I set it up, how should I design the system?

from the front

oil cooler > IC > rad
IC > oil cooler > rad

or totally different and run it behind what will be the empty foglight hole, which is dramatically smaller then the cooler size unfortunately.
