please wear your seatbelts

please people wear your seatbelt, even if you are just driving a block or two away from your house. My 22 y/o cousin just died yesterday after crashing his truck after sliding on ice on the freeway and being ejected from the vehicle...3 other people in the car survived due to wearing their seatbelt. It sucks to see someone you love die due to carelesness.

i'm sorry about your loss. i live on a 30mph backroad, clear both directions leaving my driveway, but i never even back out without a seatbelt. it's a terrible thing to lose someone so close to you over something so careless.

Ive been affected personally too by this issue... "issue". I guess I called it that because so many people make it an issue by not wanting a nylon belt around them when driving... Suck it up people.

So sorry about the misfortune. Instinct makes me put my belt on every time I sit down in a car. Thats the first thing I reach for and feel almost naked without it. I'd feel so awkward without, I'm just used to it holding me in the seat it's nice to have that extra assurance. I hope I never need it, but thats why they call it an "accident":icon_conf

sorry to hear it, that sucks,, i used to not wear mine untill i got a ticket for it many years back. Now my radar detector has a sweet hunny voice inside it that tells me to "buckle your seatbelt" every time i get in. it works well for me.. Every one says "wow your car talks to you" when they get in..
