OK well I am not an expert on transistors, only know the basics. I recently made the mistake of testing my blue headlight retraction box on a friends car which had faulty wiring, and ended up shorting out the main headlight relay transistor. The collector is shorted to the emitter causing my lights to stay on all the time.
The transistor is labeled "D571" and "1K63A", and is an NPN. Other than that I don't know any specs, I tried searching online and didn't find much info. Was wondering if anyone can help me find a replacement/equivalent that is easy to find and will work, so I don't have to buy a whole new control box. Thanks.
