No coolant can not pass through the turbo into the oil... unless the turbo has a massive hole in it some where which is unlikely.
what bore should i get for the head gasket, last time i got 86" but i have no idea why. why would they have 84 or 86?
and do titan MLS HG hold pretty well? are they about equal to cometic?

I would stick with a Cometic if I was in your situation, which I am.
Just make sure the head gets a good finish on it and also the block.
You can't be too careful with headgasket sealing surfaces...

titan headgaskets are NOT the same as cometic's. they require the same finish that an HKS headgasket uses. (ra>10) cometic's have an ra of less than 50, so there's much more room to play with. get a cometic. it's the best!

ya, well they are kinda expensive now. last year i got mine for $135 shipped. 1.31mm
so if my block is stock i guess i should get the 84 bore?

Duane had a problem with his cometic and I've also heard from other people having problems too. Buy a HKS you'll never have problems with HKS quality.
well i dont want to mess with my block, thats why i went with a cometic. but i guess i will just get a cometic again.
i drained my oil today and i didnt see anything like milky crap at all. it was just under my oil cap on it just a tad bit.
but now when i take my oil cap off smoke kinda comes out and it never did before. but it doesnt have a lot of blow by, just smoke kinda comes out.
but my car idles like crap sometimes too and it idles like at 450rpm. also a lot of smoke comes out of my exhaust. (white smoke/coolant) only at idle but its a lot.

Cometic gaskets have a rivet that you need to remove BEFORE you install it. Don't ask why they have it there but they do.
Question here is: Did you take the rivet out of the gasket? We can go from there.
Edit: A leak down test will also tell you the story or a head gasket tester.

well ya, i was wondering about that rivet with the cometic hg. i didnt see one but i got it like around october of 04. but i have a pic of it on my head and ive been looking at it and i dont see where a rivet could be to compromise the seal between the head and block. it did hold all year.

also i noticed my coolant level is going down which sucks. i know im burning coolant.

simply because one person has problems with it doesnt mean you should write it off as trash. we all have problems with our cars, yet true enthusiasts dont write them off for garbage. i'm using a cometic with no problems at all. just remove that damn rivet and you're golden.

ok, im not sure if my head gasket is blown or not. i drained my oil out tonight and its just oil, no milky looking crap and stuff. i drove it yesterday.

i took my afm off and its all oily on the inside kinda, there was some oil on the inside of the turbo where the accordian hose connects. oily residue in my intercooler pipes.
i have some pics....not good ones...
i have a homemade catch can it just goes from the valve covers to a can but when my car is running air comes out of it and when i open my oil cap smoke kinda comes out.
when i emptied the catch can there was water and some nasty shit...
it idled wierd still and it smokes at idle...

Coolant doesn't have to mix in with your oil, when my hg blew I didn't have coolant in my oil either.
