I was plugging in some number in some compressor maps. When you start pushing off the map (to the right hand side) does that mean that turbo will only be blowing nothing but hot air? It's no longer efficient, but does that mean your power will drop like a rock? Would I need move to the next bigger size turbo until the graph reaches closer to the max efficeincy area?

On a side note the T61 looks like an awesome turbo. Of course that has been said by other members here on this forum. T66 isn't too bad either, but I'm not sure how long it would take to spool that monster up.
GT4088R looks like a killer turbo, but I'm just afraid of that huge a/r of a turbine it comes with. I think it's something like a 1.16a/r. IJ, you have one of these GT turbos don't you? You seem to like it.

I guess it doesn't really matter. I've been looking at a couple of 7mpower members, and searched around for other people combos. Looks like alot of guys are running out of their turbos efficeincy range. As long as the turbo contiues to flow more air, and the intercooler cools down the charge it should be alright. I would like to pick a turbo where the sweet spot would be right on the middle of the island. Then we would be talking about a big T series turbo, or alot of money for one of 'dem GT series thingies. Right now I can't afford either one of them.
