grinding, popping, clacking, binding... I already made a thread, and people are saying it's my diff. but my diff seems to be fine. the fluid looked a lil old, but no particles or anything in it... also seemed to work just fine when I've tested it.

Does anyone know of anything in the rear suspension that could cause this issue. It makes popping/clacking sounds if turning ever so slightly... also makes groaning/grinding noises in a turn... but it only does it after driving around for a while... kind of odd :1zhelp:

In my experience play from 6 - 12 is typically a wheel bearing. You can listen to the bearing through a stethescope while the wheels are turning to confirm. Obviously this would take two people (one in the driver seat and one listening with the stethescope). I've only ever done this on a hoist in a shop though.

hm... I'll prolly do the bearings, ball joints, and bushings... just for good measure 140+k miles on what I'm sure is still original equipment from the factory
